Sponsor or Support ExamGiant

ExamGiant offers two ways to help grow educational competitions: commercial sponsorships and charitable donations.

Commercial Sponsorships

This option is for companies, brands, or private backers who want to sponsor a contest, fund visible prizes, and receive promotional placement on ExamGiant.

How It Works

  • You choose the prize amount you want to sponsor, for example $10,000.
  • ExamGiant uses that amount as the guaranteed prize commitment for the event.
  • Our operator fee is based on the initial sponsored amount, not on the final total prize pool.
  • As entries and re-entries come in, the sponsor keeps the event revenue under the final sponsor agreement.

Example

If a sponsor funds a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool and the agreement includes a 20% operator fee on the initial amount, the sponsor's guaranteed commitment remains the advertised starting point. If the event later generates $30,000 in entries and re-entries, the sponsor can still participate in the commercial upside under the agreed sponsorship model.

Here, "commercial upside" means the potential business benefit defined in the final sponsor agreement, such as how entry-fee revenue is handled after the guaranteed prize commitment and the stated operator fee. It is not a guaranteed return and depends on the final deal terms and participation.

Why Sponsors May Like This Model

  • Visible association with student achievement and education.
  • Brand placement on the website, contest pages, and event materials.
  • The option to fund a full event or participate as part of a multi-sponsor group.
  • A clear headline number that can help the event stand out publicly.

Partial Sponsorships

Sponsors do not have to fund the entire event alone. Multiple sponsors can contribute toward one prize pool, and approved sponsors may receive recognition or advertising placement on the contest pages and, when appropriate, on the main site as well.

Illustrative Prize Levels

  • $2,500 to $5,000: smaller pilot contests or subject-specific events.
  • $10,000 to $25,000: stronger headline contests with broader visibility.
  • $50,000 and above: major promotional events with serious prize visibility.
  • Stage 2 goal: as sponsorship and participation grow, we hope prize funds will eventually exceed $1 million.

Charitable Donations

This option is for donors who want to support education through a charitable giving path connected to ExamGiant competitions, rather than through a commercial sponsorship model.

How It Works

  • ExamGiant is a commercial educational platform, but for certain donation-supported competitions we may work with Group 36 as the charity partner.
  • Donors may be able to treat their donations as tax-deductible, subject to their own tax situation and applicable law.
  • The donated amount helps establish the starting prize fund for a charitable event.
  • Entries can then increase the final prize pool beyond the starting charitable amount.

Example

If a donor contributes $10,000, the public prize pool might begin at $8,000 after a small operator fee and charity-side administrative expenses, with total charity expenses capped at 20%. If the event later earns $30,000 in entries, the total prize pool could grow to $38,000.

Why Donors May Like This Model

  • Support for education, student achievement, and access.
  • A charitable structure rather than a commercial return model.
  • The chance to help create meaningful prizes for students and families.
  • A path for corporations, foundations, or individuals who want their support to be mission-driven.

Important Note

Charitable donations are not structured as revenue-sharing arrangements. Donors support the cause, help seed the prize fund, and may receive recognition, but they should not expect the event-entry upside that may exist in a commercial sponsorship agreement.

Good Uses for Charitable Giving

  • Prize funds for students from underserved backgrounds.
  • Scholarship-style awards or educational grants.
  • Free or subsidized entry for students who otherwise could not participate.
  • Devices, educational materials, or access support tied to competitions.

Which Option Is Best?

In general, commercial sponsorships make more sense for companies that want visibility, branding, and a business-oriented agreement. Charitable donations make more sense for foundations, philanthropists, and mission-driven supporters who want to strengthen education through a donation-supported competition model alongside the commercial platform.
